Relationship to Local Planning Efforts

This project is consistent with and reflected in local plans.  It is based on guiding principles created by a variety of groups, including the Greenfield Redevelopment Authority, Greening Greenfield Energy Committee, Pioneer Valley Renewable Energy Collaborative, Franklin County Sustainable Biomass Project, Co-op Power, Massachusetts Department of Energy & Environmental Affairs, and the U.S. Dept. of Energy.  The specific frameworks and documents being followed include:
